History
The Club has been operating for over 20 years. In that time we have had a number of meeting places, the most recent being a dedicated clubhouse behind Dorking Halls. However, with the expiry of our lease, we have recently had to relocate to our new location in Great Bookham where we now meet on Wednesdays of each week.
About Us
We are a small, friendly group interested in all things to do with railways and railway modeling and particularly BR Southern Region. We get together on Wednesdays from 14:00 pm until 10:00 pm to build our layouts, play trains and/or chat. We currently model in O and OO gauges and have layouts in each which we exhibit. We are partuicularly focused on the use use of digital layout control (DCC) to add further realism and operational flexibility to our layouts. We hold a joint annual exhibition with Horsham Model Railway Club each autumn. Our layouts are also available to be exhibited at other clubs shows and other events.
